What's the best way to obtain birth control without your parents knowing? (If you're on their insurance.)

There are usually woman's health clinics which will give you such including birth control, condoms, information and the like 😃 They are usually free, they just want you to be safe in the process. However, I would still try to talk to your mother about sex. It should be something you two can talk about but we all know how parents don't want but their children growing up. 😉

I started on the pill during freshman year of college and bought the pills in the health services building there by myself ($10 a pack!) because I asked my mom about it before and she shut me out about the subject entirely. I bought enough packs without her knowledge to last the whole summer then I'm gonna get on an implant once I get back there because she now knows about my boyfriend and I having sex

The great thing is, is the people at planned parent hood know that most girls try to hide it from their parents. They even have a section I filled out that said "are you not saying your insurance because you are hiding it from a parent ?" I went with my dads girlfriend, she's so awesome and knows I wanted to be on it. You can go by yourself too. Fill out the paper work, make your account. I qualified for free birth control, she gave me a years worth. What's easy to do to hide it is keep it tucked away in your wallet. Put the extra in a shoe box, somewhere you can get the next pack easily. Always bring your BC with you, you never know unexpected plans for that day.  When you have the reminder set on your phone, take the pill, you can go to the bathroom, your room, or anywhere you are located at that time and take it. It's not as hard as it seems because since it's so tinny you don't need a drink either to swallow it lol!

I googled this when I was younger and if you have pelvic cysts or describe the symptoms of it to your Gynecologist she'll recommend birth control for hormones and tah dah .  That was my experience anyway .

There isn't lol just be straight up about it or say you want to regulate your period or to help with acne. If your to scare to ask your to young to have sex and possibly be a mom. They may be a little pissed but at least your protecting yourself and in my books that earns you brownie points!

Where i am the doctor gave me bc pills when i was around 14 for free. I think it was covered by ohip and insurance or whatever that comes with my health card. It covers certain things. But yeah my point is see if the doctor can give it for free. If you go to your appointments alone it'll make it easier. But as long as your parents aren't in the room its still not bad you would just have to hide it after

If  your parents are strict that's what you might have to do. If you're sexually active its a great extra preventative measure. You could always say its to help with your period thats what I told my mom when she saw them. But by then i had stopped taking them.
