Alcohol in breast milk?

In a 3 hour time slot, I drank a brandy old fashioned and had 1/4th of a frozen strawberry margarita. I'm pumping now, should I dump it?

Alcohol leaves breastmilk at the same rate it leaves your blood stream. Feed before you plan on drinking, and then if you feel fine and are not buzzed, you are fine to feed/pump again. No need to pump and dump.

Its 3 hours per serving of alcohol... just because you feel fine doesnr mean u are just like drinking and driving

I do if it's less than 4 hours since I had a drink. I also drink tons of water after to help flush the alcohol through.

They sell testing strips at target. There's no need to pump and dump because alcohol needs to evaporate

If you feel normal and aren't tipsy at all you should be fine to not pump and dump.

Its like gold. If you feel sober you're fine to keep it. Whenever I'm gonna drink I pump before so I won't have to after drinking.
