To ladies that have taken Provera

Ok. So my gyno gave me Provera cuz i didn't take my birth control last month, for me no birth control neans no period, ever. This is my first time on provera. Its my 5th day, but i feel sooooo uncomfortable. I feel like there's a ball inside my pelvic area, i feel bloated, and i get very sharp pains on my left side on my pelvic area. Mild cramps too but the sharp stabbing pain is killing me, its on and off. Have any of you experienced something similar? Or what side effects did you experience?? TIA
