So I been on bc for a few weeks and I've been forgetting to take them at 12 and today I was really late I took them at 2:30 ...and my boyfriend and I want to try unprotected sex for the first time , how effective is it? And what should I do /:

As long as you are within 12 hours you are theoretically safe. I have been really bad with it taking it as late as 6/7 hours late and I've been totally fine and I have unprotected sex occasionally. It does freak you out though.

Taking your pill perfectly means either between and hour before you usually take it or and hour after. You should be fine but its always good to be safe
