Instinct?

Question

How much do you believe your gut instinct is correct? With my first pregnancy from almost the first moment I had a deep gut fear of miscarriage. I almost didn't want to tell anyone because I just knew I would have one. And I did just short of 5 weeks. This time around I worry about mc but I don't have that deep gut feeling I'll lose it, almost completely the opposite, really. Thoughts? Experiences?

I believe my instinct knows my body better than anyone could. Including any doctor on the planet. I will always listen to my instinct first. No matter what.

I knew with my last pregnancy when I started to have bleeding I would miscarry. Everyone tried to comfort me and said to think positive but deep down inside I just knew it wasn't meant to be. I'm a strong believer in intuition. Mine has never failed me.

I know exactly what you mean. With my first pregnancy I was convinced when I went for my 12 wk US that there would be no heartbeat and I was right, baby had stopped at 10+2. This time round (I'm 9+3 now) I fear about MMC but I feel more positive this time, I have an US next week so I'll only know then. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy x
