Baby wearing mom's!!

So I have a question. My plan when baby is born is to buy a Moby and mostly baby wear around on errands and the house and so forth. I like that I can discretely breast feed with it hands free (or at least one hand free) while out and that's a huge bonus to doing the wrap instead of getting the Tula carrier right away. I mentioned to my hubby that as I wanted to buy a Tula anyways for when baby gets too heavy and wiggly for the Moby so we could buy both early on and he can use the Tula if he wants instead of the Moby (which he called "very feminine") when baby reaches the 15lb limit. He then says "well how much is all this going to cost?!" His jaw dropped when I told him a tula was $200. I'm ALSO thinking that we may want to invest in a stroller anyways too for when baby becomes walking and adventurous and doesn't want to be carried all the time... And after lots of research I'm leaning towards the city mini gt... which here is Canada is $500 and I know he will shit his pants when I tell him that. But my view is I'd rather splurge a bit and get something we love that will last 2 or 3 children than get something cheap we don't like or breaks and end up buying 5 strollers anyways.

Okay, so the advice I want is... Is it worth it to buy the Tula carrier if we are planning on using a stroller for when baby is walking...? How long can I practically actually use a Moby before needing to consider other options? Have mom's gone successfully into toddlerhood while baby wearing and NEVER bought a stroller? We plan on trying for our second close to our 1st turning one and I feel like this could influence us using a stroller even if we baby wore into toddlerhood.

Thanks for the advice! Some good points I hadn't considered. I am reassessing my stroller options in the hopes to find something that could work for two kids <2 years apart so I only need to buy one stroller.
