Anyone dilated/effaced the same at 37 weeks?

I had my first check today and I'm 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Doctor said these were great numbers especially considering this is my first baby and I'm only 37 weeks. Anyone else around this ballpark? Also, has anyone been told these numbers and then still go on to deliver at or later than your due date? I'm just trying to gauge where my body is at and what it's doing! Hopefully I'm getting closer!

I'm a loose 1cm and 70% effaced. I am being induced at 38 weeks on Tuesday due to medical issues.

I have been dilating since 34 weeks.  At my last appointment at 36w6d I was almost 4cm and 80% effaced.  I started at 1cm, then almost 3cm and now almost 4cm.

With my first it went 36 weeks .5cm 50%, 37 weeks 1cm 70%, 38 weeks 2cm 80%, 39 weeks water broke/delivery.

I'm only 1 cm dialated and almost completely effaced! Currently 36+6 weeks and I'm being induced June 7th! My doctor did a membrane sweep for me during my check up so hopefully that'll move things along more quickly

At 37 weeks I am 3cm and 50% effaced.  Dr said it could be a day or still weeks before I have her.  So I continue the waiting game. Lol! 
With my second I was 3cm at 38 weeks and still had to be induced at 40 weeks. 😁

This is my fourth baby and with my first three I have NEVER dilated before labor. I have no idea why, and it was always super depressing. But with my first two, my water broke first in the middle of the night which triggered my contractions later at the hospital and caused my dilation. With my third I don't know what the deal was because I was never dilated at my cervical check ups and then he came so fast he was born in the ambulance. I have never carried any of my babies to 40 weeks - they were all born at 38 weeks. But now with this one (my fourth), I am dilated 1 cm, not effaced, but my cervix is soft -  and I'm almost 37 weeks. So who knows?? The whole thing is crazy weird!😁

I'm 38 weeks and have been dilated at 1 for the past few weeks. It's really not a good indicator of when you will go into labor because you can be dilated to a certain amount for awhile and not go into labor.

I was 1 cm and 60% effaced at 34.5 weeks, also my first, but dr said that was normal! We will see where I'm at this week at 37.5 weeks. I've had a ton of Braxton hicks 8-15 minutes apart all week but nothing major
