Breast Feeding Advice Please/ Over whelmed

Nan
I'm a FTM, baby born at 37 weeks, one week and 2 days ago, with a tongue tie that we caught the day after birth and has been fixed. Babe struggled with latch at first bc of the tongue tie, but is still struggling even after being fixed, though she is getting better. She doesn't take in much with her light and gentle sucking, and often falls asleep aftern3-4 sucks. When she is very hungry, she gets too frustrated to properly latch/suck and wants the immediate gratification of milk without working for it. Poor baby can't help herself and it's sad to see her be so upset. With the help of a lactation consultant we developed a plan to use a nipple shield, feed at breast 10-15 minutes/ stop if babe becomes too frustrated, and switch to bottle feeding to satisfy her... Hoping to eventually be able to ween off the bottle or use only as desired. We have been making slow improvement but it is exhausting. We are feeding every 2-3 hrs day time, 3-4 night time. By the time I do the 10-15 at breast, then finish the bottle feeding, akin to skin, diaper change and swaddle if needed, we're at an hour at least! Then I have to pump for 15 more minutes and store my milk/ clean parts. To make matters worse,  I ended up in the hospital one day after discharge and was in the ICU for 2.5 days, then readmitted to the birthing center once I stabilized, due to pre-eclampsia that worsened AFTER deliver, in addition to an infection of my uterus post cesarean. This made things very difficult. I pumped all through the night and day, even while in the ICU while separated from my daughter. I'm just a bit overwhelmed at this point. I feel like it's excessive to feed then pump every time, but this is what the lactation consultant advised me to do. Also, I should mention that I am making a ridiculous amount of breast milk,( At least 100 mL per 15 pump sesh and I'm only a week and change post partum,) and my breasts STILL really hurt in between feeds.
My main goals would be to help babe be more consistent with her feeds at the nipple, and to reduce the number of times I have to pump through the day bc it's a full time job.
Figuring out why my breasts need so much pumping to not feel like painful melons that will burst at any moment would be good too.
Advice please!
