Terrible tummy pains

So last night, my stomach started feeling really bad all of a sudden. I laid in bed all night whining and crying over the pain. I don't remember falling asleep.. but at like 2 am in the morning my fiance walks in and it wakes me up. I start holding my belly pretty much in fetal position groaning loudly from the pain.. his friend runs in here to what was happening and my fiance told him te leave the room. So he did.. he laid down with me and rubbed my belly.

Everytime I moved, I got stabbing pains in the lower part of my stomach. But just laying there there was no certain area to where the pain was, it was just painful everywhere. My fiance kept asking if I needed to go to the hospital.. asked if i was having some type of contractions..I felt like I didn't need to. There was no bleeding. Today I wake up and I feel better but my stomach still hurts and feels weird.. no more stabbing pains..

What is causing this?? Oh and I am 13 weeks pregnant.
