Crust around nipples?

Is anyone else experiencing like a crust around their nipples? It's grossing me out, and I tried to use a scrubby to clean it off, and it's not coming off. Not sure what I'm supposed to do! I'm about 30 weeks.

I found the same thing, but it looked more like cracked/dry skin. I've just been applying sweet almond oil everywhere and have been good.

I had crusty nipples from around 20 weeks if I remember, I showed it to doctor and she said it's completely normal. Use some good lotion to hydrate maybe?

My best guesses are: a) you're leaking colostrum and need to use a gentle soap and warm water or b) you've got some unwanted growth such as yeast or other bacterial/fungal infection and should call your Dr to see what you can do and wear a breathable bra if you have to wear one.
