Soft cup, diva cup, no cup?

Question

In the next week we will be trying at home with a known donor. I have researched so much info that  my eyes are crossing but still interested in hearing if anyone used any airy if cervical cup or just a syringe with your success.

We used a syringe for a small amount of sperm the  we used the softcups for the rest. We also used pre seed. We were able to get our BFP and we have a doctor's appointment for two weeks also.

I am currently 28 weeks and when I conceived I used a 1mm syringe and a soft cup. Worked 1st time for us..

I just posted in the general TTC section about this topic (I didn't know there was a separate section for us 🤗) and I was curious to know whether the sperm spills out when you insert the cup with the sperm inside?

I think the diva would be fine to use if you inseminate the sperm directly into the vagina, but from the diagrams that I have seen using a soft cup - the cervix is more towards your front and the soft cup sits behind your cervix; how can you be sure the sperm in on the right side of the soft cup if you insert semen directly into the vagina and then insert cup??? So many questions!

I had success with presets, inserting the sperm with a syringe, and putting in the diva cup after a few minutes

Is the dog up uncomfortable for anyone else. Me n my Fiance have been ttc for only 2 months now and we've only used soft ups, but they're so uncomfortable for me. Is there anything else that I should be doing to get pregnant, we really want a baby!

We used the softcups. We used a syringe to put in most of the sperm and what was left over we put in the cup.
