Dark blood?!!!!

My period started Tuesday...it's normally a bright red but this time it is maroonish red along with some clotting. Should I be concerned?

Don't be alarmed. Breathe. These could possibly (possibly!) be signs of early pregnancy, aka Implantation bleeding (bleeding after an egg is fertilized and attached to your uterus)

Remember to relax because anxiety might cause you to have stomach pain which could confuse you with pregnancy symptoms 
You should call your gynecologist or Doctor and explain what happened and ask questions. Take a pregnancy test to make sure. This could all be nothing
