Trying to conceive..

My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for almost 6 months now. This is the first time for us (and me) and it's getting to be very discouraging because it seems like it's taking forever... We just tried the "sperm meets egg plan" (which my friend recommended and it worked for her)..so we are now just waiting for the magic to hopefully happen. But I'm just looking for any other tips that anyone has tried that worked?
