It wouldn't let me post this in comments bc I am too wordy as usual ;) But here is my comment :)
:( It is so scary I know. I went into preterm labor with my twin girlies at 27+6, and was admitted to the hospital as well for all the meds to stop it. For me the meds (and absolute bed rest) helped and stopped the preterm labor. I eventually left the hospital when there was no progression for awhile. I was on strict bed rest at home for awhile, and could slowly add things in week by week. I had weekly checks and ultrasounds with my doctor, and of course always had to go in if I was starting to have more than 10 or so contractions per hour. But I laid low and the meds helped, and those girlies stayed in until 38 weeks! So, I have had friends with babies who came super early (one even at 24+5, who is now great and just lovely at 7 years old), and I know that is a very long and difficult path as well, but we just all do one day or hour or minute at a time and see where we go! I hope your boys stay in for a very long time, and I know it's really possible (another friend with twins was in the hosp at 29 weeks with PTL and eventually went home and made it to 37 weeks)! Getting through these first few days are so important. You are doing everything you can for your babes, just keep telling your body that they are staying in and you are doing this together, and try not to let your mind wander to any other options today. And regardless of what happens, you will have the courage to stick with your path, and continue taking great care of your boys! :) Thinking of you!!
