Boyfriend called me a "stupid bitch." Should I stay?

My boyfriend of 2 years and I got into a fight tonight, during which he called me a stupid bitch.  When I explained to him that it made me feel that he thought he was above me and that I was inadequate and that hurt, he said that he didn't care and that he had called me worse so I shouldn't care about that. Also that he chose those words deliberately because that's what he truly felt and that it wasn't something he sorry about and refused to apologize. What should I do?

I'm sorry he made you feel like that! But I have to say if that was a once off and he doesnt usually speak to you like that maybe it was all in the heat of the moment! No one deserves to be spoken to like that but talk to him about it and see if he's genuinely sorry!

Honestly it's your choice, but personally I would leave him.  No one deserves to be degraded. Give him an ultimatum. If he really thinks you're a "stupid b....." then he needs to get our of your life. But if he really cares then tell him to stay and mind his words.

That girl 👆 Brit answer is the stupidest thing I ever read in my life. Calling you names is disrespectful and is not how a man should treat a lady. If he says he doesnt care or apologize then it only gets worse from there.. based on experience. My suggestion would be to leave now or if your like Brit, "Shut up and put up." But it seems like you have more self respect than that..

I wouldn't be just because he didn't apologize for it. 
My fiancé got into it the other day and he said "fuck you bitch" to me, but I talked to him about it and I apologized for making him mad and he apologized and knew he was in the wrong for saying that. He just had a bad day at work. It makes a big difference if they can admit what they did was wrong and apologize for it. Because relationships wil have their problems
