How accurate is a 14 week scan for determining sex?

Accurate or wait until 20 weeks to be sure? 
What's your experience?

Okay I'm confused. I only have the first stage done where they did the ultrasound and blood. And they couldn't determine nothing with the ultrasound. But I'm waiting on the second blood to be drawn. Is that's when I find out the gender

I think it depends. I had a scan done at 14 weeks and my baby CLEARLY let us know he is all boy.

It's accurate. I had mine done at 14 weeks. The ultrasound was 100% sure she's a girl!! Mine was in 3D as well as 2D.

I had the gentic testing at 14 weeks. And they couldn't tell. Maybe because my baby was in there dancing and waving there hands

I had a scan at 12 weeks and it was so obvious it was a boy lol. We got genetic testing to confirm too, but it was apparent that early on! :)

My doctor said it won't be accurate before around 18 weeks. A family member had the one done around 15 weeks and they told them the wrong gender so I'd wait to be sure

I had the by scan at 12 weeks and 3 days but baby was measuring 13 weeks and they could tell clear as day it was a boy but the father is big down there lol so I think that's why they could tell.

I personally think if you go to a specialised gender tech the can be pretty accurate i had my last bubs 3d/4d gender scan and 14 weeks and bub cooperated luckily i saw his willy before she even told me ut was so clear and with this one i went the same and they were pretty certain its a girl and was not like my boys scans at all :)

Wait until 20 weeks, I had a scan done at 15 weeks and they couldn't tell, so I'm waiting 4 weeks until I'm 21 weeks to find out
