Periods and Pregnancy

KD

Ladies, come on. In just a span of less than 10 posts I have seen this topic in the NEW tab. Do we really know NOTHING of the female body? I am so tired of seeing the question, "Can I be pregnant and still get my period?" If you took any health, sex ed, biology, or anatomy class, you'd know the answer is NO. Think of what your period is. It's the shedding of the uterine lining because an egg was released and left unfertilized. The uterine lining serves no purpose now that a fertilized egg isn't implanting. IF you or someone you know has been pregnant and had a "period," it's probably just been vaginal bleeding which occurs around the time of implantation or around when your menstrual cycle should start. It is scientifically, medically, and physically impossible unless you're one of the rare percentage of women that has 2 uterus.

I know some of you here are stubborn as oxen, but I hope some of you get a clearer understanding on this topic and STOP misinforming one another.
