Maternity Leave?

Hey guys I plan on working up until I have her so I get the whole 3 months off with my baby. When do you plan on starting yours?

I'm a stay at home momma now, but with my first I kept working until just a few days before I was due. It was nice to have a few "me" days before baby was born, but I was glad I didn't take off any sooner. People can be up to two weeks late! If you take maternity leave at 37 weeks you could waste an entire month with no baby!

I'm also a stay at home mom for this one, but my last one I worked until 2 days before I went into labor (3 days before I had him) the only reason I was off fur those 2 days was because the doctor or me off when they thought I was developing preeclampsia. I planned being at work morning I went into labor, however I ended up at the hospital instead. :)

Same for me! I wish I could take off early but I would rather work till the end and have everyday with my baby. I do plan on asking my boss if I can work from home the last week or two though.

I'll be 37 weeks the very first week of August, so I'll be starting then because I could have my son at ANY time in August, and I'll be on leave for about 6-8 weeks.

I'm a teacher, so I get to start my "summer" two weeks from now...however I will be spending a big chunk of my summer getting my classroom ready for next year. And if I make it to teacher workdays next year I will most likely work those as well, but will let my substitute start the year with the students.
