My baby is 3 weeks. He had a big week with my sister coming from Florida (we live in CA) & wanting to go everywhere with us. He hasnt been getting the sleep he really needs because she wants to go everywhere & do everything with us while she's here (and who could blame her, it's her only nephew). Anyway, he's also going g through his 3week growth spurt. So he's really cranky right now.

EVERYONE has been telling me I should let him cry it out... he's 3 weeks for God sake & had a pretty rough week! Good grief. Everyone is making me feel like a pushover parent because I pick my baby up. Well, they lack the mental capacity to manipulate you at this age. Newborns cry with purpose, not to manipulate you.
