Anyone else's SO been gone most of the pregnancy? I'm having a harder time dealing with him being gone working now that I'm farther along. He's only been to one of my OB appointments, which was the anatomy/gender scan. We're buying a house, which he hasn't been home long enough to even do the prep work, which only he wants to do. It's like he doesn't realize I'm due in September, and I want to be in our home by July/August. We're staying at my moms at the moment, and there just isn't any room for anything of baby's. I haven't been able to stock up on wipes or diapers cuz there's just no room. SO got to come home for the holiday weekend, this morning he got called out. We had a family lunch at his moms planned, and now I have to go alone. When he's gone we hardly talk or text. He just gets frustrated when he's working and I'm blowing up his phone. He was 3 hours away when I had to go into L&D at 22 weeks for cramps and pain. Now he's over 6 hours away. Idk what I'd do if anything happened while he was gone. He says work will slow down before the baby gets here, but I don't see it. He can't say no to them when they call. I know he's working hard to provide for our family, but half the time idk where his money even goes. He brings home over $1300 a week! Just last week he bought new wheels and tires for his truck. Yes he needed the tires, but seriously another $2000 on wheels...and he's always talking about buying jeep parts and race cars....idc what he buys with his money, but I'd much rather us get the house first! We're not married, or engaged. Been together for 2 years...I've learned just to keep my mouth shut. He's a typical man, can't tell him nothing....I guess I'm just venting cuz I want him to spend more time with me and our unborn child...but he always finds time to see his buds and go help them do stuff when he's home...
