At what age can he start to spend the night?

Question

At what age do you guys think that a couple can start spending the night together in the same bed? When should parents allow their child and signifigant other to sleep together (and I do mean sleep). I think im too young but in my 18 year old mind he's the one and i wish we were treated as a legitimate couple, not two teens who are just trying to have sex.

I think 18 is appropriate, you're legally considered an adult then. It, off course, is up to the homeowner as it will be under their roof. So if they say 40 then 40 it is ;)

Under my roof not until marriage that's how my mom was but if she wants to go over there and spend the night she can at 18.

My mom let me at 17. I had been dating my boyfriend for a year and she had gotten to know him well, she also knew I would find a way to have sex one way or another so that had nothing to do with her decision, her decision was based on whether or not I was safe at his home and with him in general. My mom and his mom talked and they allowed us to spend nights together. The level of openness my mom and his mom had with us led us to having safer sex anyways. I'm not saying it's what's right for everyone but it was for us and our parents knew it. For a significant portion of our first few years dating he was away at college so when he came home to visit our parents allowed us to spend as much time together as we wanted. They knew how happy and healthy our relationship was. We did that for years before moving in together. For us those nights we spent together helped us a build a solid foundation for our relationship. We've now been together for 9 years, are currently engaged and planning our wedding. I don't have an age set for my potential future daughter, I know it was hard for my mom to allow it to happen and she only did so after she got to know my boyfriend and his family but I'm still thankful my mom allowed us to have our sleepovers. Those nights were some of the best of my life and I'm not talking about the sex, those nights are when we truly bonded and I still treasure them. To each their own.

Both my boyfriend and I are 24 and my mom doesn't let me spend the night at his house because she says it's "inappropriate" and he can't spend the night at my house because there's too many people living here.

My bf and I both are 24 and he can't spend the night at my house cause my parents find it inappropriate and I can't spend the night at his house cause his aunt and uncle also think it's inappropriate before marriage.

We weren't allowed until 21 and that was in different time for proprietary Sake.. We didn't have a problem waiting until we were on our own.. I personally wouldn't allow need sharing but out his gf wants to stay the night in her own room then that's fine.. It didn't hurt us any
