Severe back pain ??

Question

I'm 9w2d pregnant .....For the past 2 1/2 weeks I job been having extremely bad back pain. Especially while I'm trying to sleep. I sleep with a bunch of pillows. Have a body pillow as well. I try stretching but the pain still continues. If I go to the ER, would it be a waste of time or could they help me?? I been taking Tylenol but only one throughout the day.

I had horrible sciatica with my first baby in the later part of my first trimester. The nurse told me it sounded like sciatica but it was too early for it. Tell that to my sciatic nerve. I remember trying to Christmas shop & barely being able to walk. I was only around 10-12 weeks. Surprisingly it did let up as my pregnancy progressed.

I've had back pain as well and my doctor said it's probably my sciatic, which can be inflamed by all the hormone changes. She said to google sciatic nerve stretches on YouTube. Hope that helps!
