So this looks really gross but I just removed my finger nail polish and used 100% acetone nail polish remover and now my nails look all broken. Why? (Toes are shiny from petroleum jelly)

This is fungal infection, need some Treament but they are very hard to go😬

Acetone normally dries out the nailbed. Make sure your using a base coat underneath your nail polish so I doesn't stain your nails. The best thing to do if you're conscerned with color you could use baking soda and toothpaste or use the bubble white cleansing and whitening agent. Other than that I'd say give your nails air to breathe. Don't polish them for a while.
