So you can work from home as a medical coder. You make decent money but it costs a few grand to complete a course and pay for the test and membership to AAPC. There is a YouTube course that will help you pass the CPC exam and become certified. You pay $290 for all the books. And once you are ready to schedule your test, $180 for membership to AAPC and $350 for the test. You just follow along with their classes on YouTube. Just search AMCI on YouTube. This is for an actual career. You can find cheap courses for other certifications to broaden your resume. I do not receive any compensation for sharing this info.
