Can I put my Nuva ring in the freezer?

I was just wondering because my parents don't want me on birth control & I have been on the ring for a while but it's been winter so I was able to keep it cold in my window, but it's getting warmer out.. I was wondering if I can put them in my freezer because there is more places to hide it.. The fridge is all open?? Please help

Do NOT put it in the freezer, you will risk its effectiveness. Your packet should tell you at what temps it should be stored, but most likely room temperature.

You don't need to keep your ring in the fridge or freezer.

Just keep it out of direct sunlight and out of the heat. Don't leave it in your car, don't leave it in your purse in a place where it will get hot.

Maybe put them in a box under your bed? That way they're safe, and your parents probably won't find them.
