Period sex?

Question

I'm seeing my boyfriend tomorrow and my period thought today would be a great day to start. 
We have tried having sex on my period before but it was uncomfortable and messy, so we didn't try it again. 
I really want to try it again though, as we haven't seen eachother in a few weeks and my sex drive has been quite high. 
Is there any tips or things we could do to make it easier? 
Shower sex is a no-no, as my shower is incredibly small.

I did once. We put a black towel down and I made him wear a condom and did it in the dark. Then i did the clean-up (we keep wet wipes by the bed) while still dark so when the light came on there was no way you could tell.

I personally like period sex, not because of the mess but I think it feels good. We definitely just clean up when we are done. Or we do anal. It's whatever is more comfortable to you.

I love sex on my period everything is more sensitive and to be honest I'm never on heavy anyway so you would hardly tell I was on! It's only blood! Just put a towel down and clean yourself off after you will be fine.

Girl my shower is TINY! My my bf and I live together so we have to make it work. Do it from behind like doggy.  Or you put one leg up and put your foot against the wall. Just try different positions. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out something
