Is anyone cloth diapering? Help?

I'm a first time cloth user. I am using mostly Alva Baby diapers and Love my baby diapers. Both with bamboo charcoal inserts and microfiber inserts. I am trying to get them all prepped and ready for baby to use so without thinking I washed the charcoal Inserts, alone with the powder baby Dreft detergent. But I read online that that is a No No because of the softeners. So can I use my regular laundry detergent, All packets with Oxi? Or is it necessary to use Tide? Can I wash the mixed charcoal and white microfiber together or seperate them like normal clothes? Do I need to wash the inserts alone when they are soiled in? Ugh I'm so overwhelmed! 😓
