Let's talk about Mississippi's "religious freedom" bill

Also known as HB1523
•States that it protects businesses and government officials who cannot do business with gay people, transgender people, or those having extramarital sex because it goes against their religious beliefs or deeply held moral convictions
•For example: a gay couple can be kicked out of their apartment, an unmarried person who had sex can be fired, a transgender female can be forced to wear only pants at a certain school or workplace, etc.
What do y'all think?
Is it a violation of the separation of church and state? Do you think it only favors Christian values? Any other thoughts?
