I was originally due June 8th but I delivered my daughter Heidy Clarita M on May 28th. One month exactly from her daddys birthday (April 28th). She was 5pounds 14ounces 18 1/2inches born at 9:20pm.

Bit of my birth story (not all of it cause i dont want any mother to go thru what i did ill create another post about what happened cause this one is supposed to be joyful not a horror show)

On Friday May 27th we arrived at the hospital at 10pm cause i was having slight contractions they put me on q monitor for a hour checked my cervix it was at a 3 then we walked the halls all night just walked and walked well i was only progressing .5cm every 2-3hours by 9am they were getting ready to discharge me then they stuck the monitors on and seen contractions were close they asked do you want to br checked before you leave my husband said yes cause he didnt want to come back in later that day they checked me and i was at 5.5cm thats when they admitted me i spent the whole day walking the halls and being on the monitor by 8pm contractions were close i asked to take a bath cause i was going all natural no pain meds nothing the hot water helped with the contractions alot by 8:40 my husband said he would be right back he was going to get the lottery for the night well 30 minutes later i had a urge to push i panicked and pulled the cord for the nurse they dried me off and put me on the bed i started crying cause 1 i was scared regardless if it was my second child and 2 i had no clue where my husband ran off to. I sent him 6 text messages and called him 3 times nothing i was already at 8cm well the nurse then pages him over the intercom so throughout the whole hospital you could hear "Edwin Mendez we need you on maternity your wife is ready to deliver any minute" yup that did the trick he appeared within seconds our oldest shes 2 was asleep he put her in the stroller then came to my side 1minute later i started pushing. He barely made it to the birth lol.
