Boob tape

Hey girls !! I'm going to a wedding very soon but the dress I have bought is backless? I've heard boob tape or body tape helps to lift your boobs, bearing in mind I'm a 34DD and my boobs are quite heavy and hang low , do you girls know if boob tape works to lift them up and if it will last all night as I will be dancing etc.
