Zika virus?!?

I see so many ladies getting pregnant, congrats to everyone, but is anyone thinking about the Zika virus? I've been TTC for a little over a year and now it's just terrifying. Two confirmed moms have children effected by the Zika in the US. Anyone have any thoughts? Any mosquito repellent info?

Definitely be concerned, but so far there are no cases in the US states that aren't travel related (i.e. They visited a country that had it) you can check the CDC website for updates - once you see a so-called "local case" in your state it's time to pile on the DEET!

I'm 12 weeks and I'm terrified. 😔 but mosquitos don't really bite me. Plus they only come out in cool shady damp areas and in the evening when the sun goes down.
