This is not a very controversial topic in the world but, ooooohhh my, is it controversial in my home today. I'm not sure how my boyfriend and I have lived together for four years and are now realizing that we pronounce it differently. 😐

My friend used to call it ger-Sherrie.
Then I have another friend who only calls it "food shopping". Both of those are weird to me even though the food shopping one makes sense!

I've never heard anyone pronounce it the first way before, I always say "grow-shery"
