Fertile window or fight club?

Question

Month 3 of trying to conceive my SO and I seem to end up fighting during my fertile week!! This is 3 for 3 now! 
In another month or 2, my fertile window will happen while he's gone for 14 days at a time and the opportunity to even try will be long gone and longer still to come back around. I can't be imagining this! I wait all month for this window of opportunity, because HE has wanted for years to have a baby... And it comes to find us fighting month after month. UGH!

Make up sex is the best. Just let him think he won the fight, then dive into his arms and say "baby I love you and don't want to fight." Then hug/kiss him and get it crackin!

That is crazy to read because the last couple of months the EXACT thing has happened to me! A couple of times we fought so I missed my chance in the fertile window and then he was gone another month. It sucks so bad.

It really sucks, and with mine he is the one with the problem that did not sit with him well as he was blaming me. Right now we not even talking and he is suppose to buy the second round of clomid.

As far as fertility issues go- I had a tubal reversal and his count is fine. So far my tubes seem fine so that's good. Last month we counted days and it became so much work and stress and this month I only let him know ahead of time which week it would be, and I told him exactly your advice. I wanted him to make those few short days about us. Unfortunately he gets into obsessive patterns with new projects and the one he's stuck on now takes over his every thought.
The sad part for me is that he knows we will have to wait 9 months or so for the fertile window to realign with his home/work schedule if we waste these 3-4 months. That means 1 month left, 2 if we are lucky or my cycle changes. That's the worst part. It  doesn't feel like it's a priority to him and when he slows down on this new project, it'll be too late. 
I tried date night, he wouldn't let go long enough to go. 
I'm getting more and more depressed. I agreed to have more children because for years he begged for it. Now it feels like I've done everything he's asked, doctors and surgery and a horrid recovery, I've gotten healthier, quit smoking and drinking and junk food.... And now it's time to try and he's on another planet. Ugh. Men.
