Do you think there is a difference between homophobic people and people who just don't agree with gay people?

If you "dont agree" or think its "wrong," thats homophobic to me.

Of course!!  I don't agree with gay people but this doesn't mean I'm not going to be friends with them, or treat them like any other human being. 
People who are homophobic are so rude towards them and treat them like they are not people. 
Just cause we choose to love differently doesn't make anyone less of a human and respect should always been given.

Of course there's a difference. Being homophobic means hating gay people. Just not agreeing with their lifestyle doesn't hurt anyone. One can not agree with it and still have gay friends and live peacefully with everyone without hating them

Are we talking real life or glow life? Lol yes, there is a difference in respectfully holding your own personal sets of beliefs and voicing your opinion based on those set beliefs vs actively speaking out against it, trying to stop it, hate speech, bullying & belittling others etc; that's real life though- on glow, if you don't agree with something & POLITELY voice your opinion then you're [insert phobia here]. Just because you aren't exactly FOR something, doesn't mean you are against it, either. As long as you aren't hurting anyone or putting anyone down, it's okay to have your opinions and beliefs & that's what people on here need to understand & no it doesn't make you whatever phobic...

Here's the thing, many people misinterpret homophobia to mean a hatred of homosexual people-which is wrong.

Hatred is only a symptom of homophobia, not everyone experiences that hatred. Sometimes homophobia rears itself as indifference, pity, a creepy dehumanisation facisnation or a creepy fetishisation. It also shows itself as egotistical and self-absorbant in the way that some homophobes refuse to listen to homosexual people and learn from what they're saying, due to the belief that they think they're more knowledgeable than homosexual people.

Although what people need to desperately realise is that your feelings are completely irrelevant. You may claim to "love" a homosexual friend or family member, but you may also say that they are commiting a sin for being gay, or you may constantly use slurs like "f*g" that you have no right to reclaim. Regardless of your "love" for this person, your actions clearly demonstrate homophobic beliefs.

Not agreeing with the "gay lifestyle" definitely qualifies as an indifference towards the homosexual community-and this is an act of homophobia. Not agreeing with homosexuality gives you a blanket excuse for you to hide yourself away for the struggles that the homosexuality community face. It allows you to remain on a high-horse as you are automatically shielding yourself from being called out as you haven't worked up the mindset to listen and learn.

Not believing in homosexuality IS homophobia, there is not distinction. Heterosexual people, and those outside of the homosexuality identity, desperately need to recognise this.

No, "disagreeing" with who a person is, is the exactly what a phobia is in this context. Of course there's different levels, from silently having a problem all the way to hate crimes, but it's ultimately all homophobia.

I guess if you're not gay, then you don't agree with it. But that doesn't mean you have a problem with others being gay. Not being gay doesn't automatically make you homophobic.

That's literally who that person is. They were born a certain way. It's like not agreeing with red heads because they make you uncomfortable. It's ridiculous and unnecessary.

Ergo, that would make someone with those beliefs homophobic.
