2 weeks ago I had an appointment with a specialists because my little girl may have been at risk for Spina Bifida. Day of actual appointment, we had an ultrasound to go more in depth of the baby's spine and other things.

Turns out she didn't have Spina Bifida, but a lot worse.

The ultrasound tech got up and went to go get 2 Maternal Fetal Medicine doctors (high risk). They came in and looked at the ultrasound pictures and measurements.

I knew something was wrong.

The doctor then explained to me baby is measuring 2 weeks behind, I have extremely low fluid, she has echogenic bowel, and my placenta has reverse blood flow (she isn't getting enough nutrients to grow).

He then proceeded to tell me it wasn't curable. That, this may not end well.

He had me schedule an appointment 2 weeks later to see if she has grown any.

**day of actual appointment 2 weeks later: TODAY**

I went in to my ultrasound with my husband. Praying to God all morning, hoping nothing has happened.

As soon as the ultrasound tech looked at the baby on the machine, he got up and said he will be right back.

After waiting 5 minutes, he came back, took more measurements, and told me the baby does not have a heartbeat. I'm 23w4d as of today. And baby did not grow.

We have a D&E scheduled for next Thursday, because I cannot bear to do vaginal delivery, it will be way to hard on me to hold my dead baby.

I've been praying so much these last 2 weeks, but God had a different plan...
