Chicco nextfit zip, thoughts from those who own and use

Trying to decide if it's a good idea to go with the nextfit (convertible car seat) or if it's better to bite the bullet and get an infant chicco keyfit zip (where in a year I'll then have to get another seat). I'm pretty set on the chicco as I trust their safety ratings and the zip feature will be a must for easy cleaning if there's a bigger than wipe up mess. For those who have one and are currently using, what are your thoughts, pros and cons. Thanks in advance!
