Disgustingly awful acne flare up, please help

(Just as a forenote my skin isn't oily I had just gotten out of the shower and put aloe on when these pictures were taken)
I normally have moderate acne here and there and have struggled with it my entire life, but last Friday, my acne flared up to a point I've never seen it get to, and it's extremely painful and red. I think it's because of a Biore charcoal soap that I had just began using as it was recommended to me by a friend, as that's the only thing I changed in my routine. My skin has been like this for 7 days now and I can't even begin to describe how disgusting I feel, I'm so embarrassed and I don't even want to go to school because my skin looks so awful. Of course I've been covering it up with makeup but even the makeup does a poor job due to how red it is. I've tried aloe (didn't work) and I'm trying extra virgin cold pressed olive oil tonight as I heard it works wonders, but does anyone else have any suggestions?? 😞😞

I heard 2 teaspoons of honey and 1/2 a lemon mixed together clears things up left on for 30 min. Idk.

Alright so I promise you I won't steer you wrong, I've had this happen to me so many times so I gotchu! •Step 1: before you wash your face, wash your hands with the same cleanser you use on your face so all the bacteria is gone! ( I have the same skin type and I STRONGLY RECCOMEND the origins "zero oil" line) •Step 2: To make a mask to dry out the pimples mix lemon and baking soda you together into a paste and leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off. You can do this 2/3 times a week but once you see results only 1 time a week. •Step 3: wash your face morning, night and once during the day if you can! It'll keep all the bacteria out and keep you skin hydrated and healthy! •Step 4: water water water, drink lots of it!! It'll help sooo much to clear out toxins in your body! •Step 5: If you have an Indian grocery store close to you I would recommend going there and asking for a mask called "multani miti" if they have it mix with water and apply to face everyday until you see results! Literally the best mask anyone could ask for!I hope this all helps, if it does come back and tell me!

Cetaphil cleanser, rose hip oil and coconut oil work for me, I have acne as well and mine flares up with stress. try cutting out dairy (I know it's so hard) it always improves everyone's acne, try doing some Google research on it if you don't believe me haha! also try tea tree and something like benzac as spot treatment. garlic works sooo good on active pimples as well!! rub a garlic clove over the pimple and in the morning it will be a lot better. im trying to think of all my tricks, make sure you change your pillow case every 2-3 days, it honestly helps a lot. just wash your face at night, on days where you don't have to wear make up try not to. I know the struggle and it is very hard, if push comes to shove get on medication. I so hope I've helped!! best wishes 💘

Aw that's sucks! This just happened to because of the same charcoal soap. I started using a new face scrub called "simple" it's in a green bottle and so far so good. I also recently bought the garnier micellar water and it's helped my skin so much, I completely recommend it.

& I wouldn't put aloe on it, unless it's the actual plant. The gel has caused me to break out also.

I've struggled with acne of that severity practically my whole life. The only thing that works well for me is a product called exposed skincare. You can only buy it online and it's fairly expensive but it works so perfectly I can't say enough good things about it. Worth the money if you struggle with acne like I do and it has a lot of natural ingredients like witch hazel, tea tree oil, green tea extract, meadow root etc

Try clearasil unltra there's several kinds and get extra stength acne cream. They make a green concealer just for redness and it works great. I recommend the liquid kind
