What my dad did to me was emotional abuse. If I screwed up it was constantly " your a fuck up like your mom or grandma" he use to call me fat an  tell me I shouldn't wear certain things because of it. If I talked to boys I was acting like a slut. I was called a failure or how he was so disappointed everytime I made a minor mistake. My dad really knew how to put me down mentally. It sucked. I ended up moving into my moms place when I was 14/15. If I didn't do things the way he wanted he knew exactly what to say to break me. I had terrible self esteem an was depressed for a very long time. I never really got help for it an I just had to figure out how to move on from it. I haven't spoken to my dad in almost 2 years when he couldn't accept my life choices an went after my husband.
