Nuvaring, period & pregnancy?

So, I've been on my period for what feels like forever now and I'm also on Nuvaring, which doesn't make any sense because I started while the ring was still in, which isn't suppose to happen if you know how Nuvaring works, but my question is, I took the ring out today and my period has settled down to very light spotting and I just had unprotected sex, so is it possible for me to get pregnant?
