Hematometra

I had a surgical abortion in February and after that was having m a lot of abdominal pain. I didn't think anything of the pain until it got to be too much to bare so I went to the e.r. They told me I had what's a Hematometra which means scaring on my uterus that has trapped months of blood . At first they did nothing because I had no medical insurance and then when I had to come back they did a surgical dilation to open my cervix and get the blood out. They weren't able to give me any info about it though because the obgym that helped me had never seen it so I'm left wondering if it'll scar again or if I will be able to have children! I'm terrified I tried looking on the internet but no one seems to really know what happens next. Has anyone had this before that can tell me what to expect
