Whats the chances on having another miscarraige??

What is the chances on having another miscarriage?I passed my baby naturally on May 13th,I should of been almost  12 weeks when baby's heart stopped at 7,I'm being told different things.I'm waiting until my period arrives to try to conceive again but I am absolultly petrified,,I know if I do conceive again I will have to stay positive but it will be really hard as I have no idea on what caused me to miscarry?would it be  OK to try after one cycle or would it be best to wait a few more? ALSO so sorry to everyone here who has lost their little angels xx

I've been reading a lot about this and most research says that a woman who has never had a miscarriage or has only had one will have the same chance of a miscarriage next time (about 20% for all women under 35). If you've had two miscarriages the risk seems to go up a tiny bit to about 22% but even those studies are a little uncertain and there may be no increase.

I read (I think on AmericanPregnancy.org) your chances are the same (10-25%?) as any other pregnancy after one miscarriage. I feel you on being terrified for the next time and I love how you said to be positive. That's all we can do right. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you best of luck!

AV had a ruptured ectopic in sept 2015. May 2016 I had surgery to remove my 12 week baby (pregnancy)  I had a missed miscarraige with no symptoms. I was told I could start trying the minute the bleeding stopped X

I don't know the chances either... I am currently having my second miscarriage within 5months. Both were missed mc. First was at 12wks with no symptoms and this one was at 9wks with some unusual cramping late last week but no bleeding/spotting. We will try again but I'm looking to try to find a doctor that may be willing to monitor me a little more and perform some blood work to rule out any reason I can't carry a baby past 9wks right now... I'm also 35 so I think my chances are increased a little. Either way it sucks. I'm so sorry about everyone's losses and I hope we all have our rainbow baby soon. 💔

I'm currently going through my second miscarriage. Never thought I would be one of those people to have 2 in a row. I was told by my doctor I only needed to wait one period and that my chances of another miscarriage increase very slightly after having 1. It's hard to be positive but I wish you all the best!

Idk what the chances are. Just trying myself to tell myself chances r slim as I had a mc on Jan 25th and will b TTC this month. N I can't go thru another one. I know I will b petrified when i do conceive again. Hang in there. Sry for your loss. I have two kids and the Jan was my first mc and I too don't know what caused it whether it b stress or age or something but I'd like to think that seeing I have two healthy kids I can have another one. I don’t see it in the comments yet but if you are trying to conceive again I would wait at least 2 period cycles for the lining in your uterus to come back before so it has more of a chance to stick. Best of luck baby!
