If you look up the actual statistics it's very few women who get positives before their missed period. In fact the highest rate of accurate positives is a while after your period is due. You can Google the stats if you actually want to know but just because something can do something doesn't mean it's going to it just means it could and that chance could be as little as .99% and they can still stay it can do it.

If you read the box, it even says that six days beforehand, the test is only 30% accurate (or something like that) - and the number gets bigger the closer you get to AF.

Also a week before AF is super early to test.
