Sore labia while on period?

During my period my labia, or "lips" of my vagina, normally feel sore and very tender (almost like a bruise). Does anyone else feel this? Does anyone know what causes it?

I get the same thing. It might be because of all the blood rushing to them and with it becoming engorged maybe that's why it's so painful.

Yes! Mine doesn't typically last long, a few hours to a whole day at most, but seriously what in the world!!

Glad im not alone! Im super sore down there during AF. I dont know why some girls like to have sex during cause I just cringe.
