Child's father hit me 😖 scared and alone!

I'm 4 months pregnant and today my child's father and I had two physical fights! He slapped me saying he wish he'd never gotten me pregnant and he hated me! It then escalated further to him choking and holding me against the front door, then he threw me across the floor and I shielded my stomach as best as I could to keep from hitting the sharp corners on my stairs and coffee table! Enough is enough, all this is happening because he has a girlfriend and I'm not okay with him wanting to play these back and forth games with my life! I just wanna be a happy mother and take care of my baby as best as I can! My mother just had a conversation with the both of us yesterday and she was telling me that I shouldn't be fighting while I'm pregnant because she went through the same thing with my father and I said well he's never physically hit me but today it was the first time!
