Painting while pregnant. ..yayyyyy or nayyy?

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and putting together my nursery by myself because the dad is more stressful than helpful so I would rather get it done in peace. I have purchased the crib and other nursery items but want a different color on the walls before setting up. What types of paint are safe for expecting mom's? Any suggestions please?

For my daughters nursery I painted the accent wall myself and was totally safe. I was about 30 weeks pregnant at the time It turned out super cute! We're now pregnant with baby girl #2 and starting to get ideas for this one. Below is one of her walls..not the one I painted. Her theme was grey, cream, and lilac.

I just got done painting my daughters rooms, did it last year as well - no special paint just make sure to ventilate well.. fans.. open windows :)

Don't paint it yourself, and since it's in your bedroom buy zero VOC paint because is not healthy for you to be in a recently painted room.

I was doing some remodeling repairs to my house up to the day I gave birth. Like I literally just finished painting our bed room (ceiling and all) the day before my induction.

We've been redoing all the trim and doors in our house. I was painting everyday until I found out I was pregnant. Stopped bc of the smell and extreme nausea. Just restarted yesterday. My midwife said as long as it's well ventilated it's fine. I'm wearing a mask to be safe too. :)

I plan on painting and tearing up carpet and laying laminate floors while I'm pregnant, so I don't see why not! Lol

I've been helping my family & husband paint our new house. We've been using Valspar and I just make sure it's well ventilated. My OB said that was perfectly fine.
