When to go back to church

Question

Our church is taking new members this Sunday and my husband and I really want to join. Our LO will be 3 1/2 weeks old and our pediatrician said as long as we keep her covered and minimize people interacting with her that she SHOULD be fine. My husband thinks she will be fine, but I'm not sure I feel entirely comfortable yet. I just know everyone will want to see her.

Same here , my church is like a big family so I know when I have my child they will be trying to hold him/her the entire service and not give me my baby back. I'm guessing to take my baby when I feel most comfortable at letting people hold him/her so guess I'll be at church when the baby turns 1 years old 😂 🤔

I would put her in a front carrier. That way people can see her without getting to close and touching her.

We are going around 3 weeks and keeping him in the baby k'tan. I would say to make sure to keep an eye out for sick people. I definitely wouldn't go though if it was in a low vaccination rate community.

We took our son to church when he was 2 weeks and it was fine :) he slept and was in his pram and people just looked, didn't try hold him or take him :)
