Birth control not working?

I am currently on azithromycyn (z-pack) and I am on the birth control patch. Will the z-pack cause my birth control to be uneffective?

Only one antibiotic is known to make the pill less effective. That is rifampin, a special medication used to treat tuberculosis. The brand names include Rifadin and Rimactane. Other antibiotics do not make the pill less effective.

This mirrors what my sister's doctor told her, and since getting pregnant would have been insanely detrimental to her health, I trust him.
