my bestfriend wants me to go down to the beach with her for a week. about 20 or so of her family members will be there and 0 of them my mom has met!! She is worried about me getting sexually abused like she was once at a sleepover. But my friends family is v v nice! Would you let me go if you were my mom?
UPDATE: MY MOM IS VERY NERVOUS BUT IS LETTING ME GO!! SHE TOLD ME IF ANYONE MAKES ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE OR ANYTHING JUST TO  LET HER KNOW AND ANOTHER ADULT AND SHE WILL COME GET ME

No I would not let my child go especially if I don't know nor met any of the adults that are going.

Why don't you arrange for you mother to meet some of your friends family that way if she were to decide to let you go, she might would feel more comfortable with the situation..
