So I've used opks to track my ovulation and I have already ovulated this month but I took one just for the heck of it and it had a faint line. Could anyone tell me what it could be?

Opks usually do give faint lines at any given time during your cycle. However if you have missed your period and took an opk and it came back a clear POSITIVE then you may be pregnant. With my first pregnancy I decided to take an opk for the heck of it because I thought maybe I was pregnant but didn't have an HCG test. I took it and bam a super dark positive. Sure enough I was pregnant. But if it's a faint line more than likely it's normal!

In order for the OPK to be positive, the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. The "faint" line will 9 time out of 10, always be there.
