Do you always get a line on ovulation test even if it's faint?

You need to take a hcg test to know for sure. But most times if you are pregnant and take an ovulation test the test line will be super dark, since you got a light line id say no, but take a hcg test tomorrow

My period is due in 6 days 
With my son I found out I was pregnant 2 days before period, long story I used a preg test saw it was positive I only had an ovulation test left and looked on line and it said you can use them to find out if pregnant.

I've just used one and there a faint line on ovulation test. I've also had some symptoms wth pregnancy.

Could I be pregnant?
